Ikan Mabong came from the same family with Ikan Kembung which is Indian Mackerel, just the size of the Ikan Mabong is slightly bigger and thicker than Ikan Kembung. It has sweet and fat fleshy, suitable for deep fry, pan fry, Assam, etc.
